林涛教授，武汉大学

林涛教授于1991年、1994年和1997年分别获得中国华中科技大学学士、硕士和博士学位。1997年至2000年，他在华中电力集团有限公司担任研发工程师。2000年，他获得了日本科学促进会（JSPS）颁发的JSPS博士后奖学金，2000年至2002年，他在长崎大学担任JSPS研究员。2002年至2003年，他还在英国巴斯大学工作，2003年至2005年，他作为访问研究员在美国佛罗里达大学工作。2005年，加入中国武汉大学，担任教授。研究领域是建筑和分布式电力系统规划和运行、电力和能源系统控制和保护、电能质量和电力测量/仪表等。

Professor Tao LIN obtained Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China in 1991, 1994 and 1997, respectively. He was with Central China Power Group Co. as R&D engineer from 1997 to 2000. He was awarded JSPS post doctoral fellowship by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) in 2000 and he was with Nagasaki University as JSPS fellow from 2000 to 2002. He was also with University of Bath, the UK, from 2002 to 2003, and was with the University of Florida, the USA from 2003 t0 2005 as visiting research fellows. In 2005, he joined Wuhan University, China, as a full professor. His research fields are buik and distributed electric power system planning and operation, power and energy systems control and protection, power quality and power measurement /instrumentation, etc.
